IT Traders (“IT Traders”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a one-stop IT solutions company based in Pune, India, supplying IT hardware, software licensing, cloud, cybersecurity, AMC support and rental solutions to businesses across India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website https://ittraders.in/ (the “Website”), how we use it, whom we share it with and the choices you have.
We are committed to handling your personal data lawfully, transparently and securely, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways: what you give us, and what your device shares with us automatically.
Information you provide
- Enquiry and quote forms — your full name, company name, work email address, mobile number, the services you are interested in and any message you write.
- Consultation bookings — the name, email address and appointment details you enter when you schedule a call through our Calendly booking window.
- Brochure downloads — your name, email address and mobile number when you request our company profile.
- Direct communication — anything you share with us by email, phone, WhatsApp or in person, including purchase orders and project requirements.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system and screen size.
- Usage data — the pages you view, the page you arrived from, the time spent on the Website and the links you click.
- Campaign data — the source, medium and campaign tags (for example UTM parameters or a Google Ads click identifier) attached to the link that brought you here, so we know which advertising is working.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as financial account details, passwords, health information or biometric data through the Website. Please do not include such information in a free-text form field.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare a detailed quotation, usually within four business hours;
- schedule and hold the consultation you booked;
- deliver, install, support and maintain the products and services you purchase from us, including OEM warranty registration and AMC service tickets;
- send you the brochure or document you requested;
- keep you informed about your order, service tickets, renewals and licence expiries;
- share relevant updates about new solutions, OEM promotions and IT cost-optimisation ideas, where you have not opted out;
- understand how the Website is used so we can improve its content, speed and usability;
- detect, prevent and investigate spam, fraud and misuse of the Website; and
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Legal basis and consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit a form or book a consultation), our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and operating the Website, the performance of a contract with you or your organisation, and compliance with applicable law. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to admin@ittraders.in; withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
The Website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage keys so that it works properly and so we can measure its performance:

Sharing your information
We never sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to serve you:
- OEMs, distributors and logistics partners — to price, source, ship, register and support the products you order, including warranty activation with the manufacturer.
- Service providers — companies that host the Website, deliver our email, run our CRM and scheduling tools (such as Calendly) and provide analytics. They may process data only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, insurers and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities — where the law, a court order or a government request requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of IT Traders, our customers or others.
- Business transfers — if IT Traders is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Some of our service providers store data outside India. Where that happens we take reasonable steps, including contractual safeguards, to ensure your data receives a comparable level of protection.
Data retention
We keep enquiry details for as long as is needed to answer you and to follow up on a potential project, and thereafter for up to three years so that we can recognise a returning customer. Order, invoice, warranty and AMC records are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law require, typically eight years. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. When data is no longer needed we delete it or anonymise it.
Data security
We protect your information with reasonable technical and organisational measures: the Website is served over HTTPS, forms are protected against automated submissions and rate-limited, access to enquiry records is restricted to the staff who need it, and our hosting provider maintains physical and network security. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erase your data where we no longer need it;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time — every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can reply “STOP” to a WhatsApp message;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; and
- raise a grievance about how we handle your data.

Children’s privacy
The Website and our services are intended for businesses and for adults acting on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party websites
The Website links to OEM websites, partner portals and social media platforms. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible. Please review them before sharing any information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website; continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
